OnePlus 7 Pro Gets OxygenOS 9.5.9 Update, Brings Camera & System-wide Improvements

The flagship OnePlus 7 Pro receives another OxygenOS incremental update from the Chinese manufacturer. The update has started rolling out to the devices, needless to say, its a staged rolled out and users should get in the coming days of this week. The new OxygenOS update rolls out to the OnePlus 7 Pro, which had last been updated late last month (With OxygenOS 9.5.8) that brought the camera and audio improvements to the flagship device. The changelog of the new rollout appears to be huge; however, the primary focus is to make the OnePlus 7 Pro experience more smoother than before.
To start with, the new OxygenOS update rollout comes with a 9.5.9 version number. It again brings several improvements to the flagship’s camera as well as several enhancements to the system too. The OnePlus 7 Pro with this new update will have an improved touch sensitivity that claims to improve the performance of the device altogether. Several system-wide optimizations include — better haptic feedback for the keyboard and improvements for auto-switch display resolution and enhancements to auto-brightness sensitivity. The built-in GPS is said to have optimized as well when the screen is turned off.
Face Unlock feature on the OnePlus 7 pro also gets assistive lighting support. Besides, the update brings Google’s updated Android security patch for the month of June and lastly, you get additional support for VoLTE/VoWiFI for 3SE and Telenor SE for European countries.
As for the camera department, the OxygenOS 9.5.9 update delivers improved photo quality of 48MP photo shot on the OnePlus 7 Pro in Pro mode and there are other significant improvements brought to the camera that includes — increased speeds of auto-focus, switching between the camera modes should be more smoother now, and also there’s a new advanced photo-stitching mode in Panorama on the OnePlus 7 Pro camera as well.
