OnePlus has been rolling out updates to all its devices that include the older devices like OnePlus 3 and 3T for the past couple of weeks now. While those were significant updates with the latest OxygenOS including Android Pie, the company has now rolled out the much awaited incremental update for its latest flagship – the OnePlus 7 Pro as well. The new OxygenOS update bearing two version numbers i.e., 9.5.4 and the 9.5.5 has been rolled out by the company. While both the builds are identical one individually is special for the EU region.
Despite the version numbers both the builds of the OnePlus 7 Pro update bring few noticeable System-wide improvements that include optimizations for Double Tap to Wake and Ambient Display feature, meaning OnePlus 7 Pro users can utilize the features more speedily than before. The update also has a fix for the delay in audio playback while gaming via Bluetooth headphones too. Other than these incremental updates, the build also comes with general bug fixes and system-wide improvements as well.
Moreover, the OxygenOS 9.5.4 has some significant improvements for the OnePlus 7 Pro’s camera. The update brings much-awaited improvements for the image quality, especially for shots taken in low-light conditions and image quality improvements for HDR photography scenarios as well. The triple rear cameras for the OnePlus 7 Pro also get fixed white balance and focus issues in multiple scenarios.
To get the new update, OnePlus 7 Pro users might have to wait for the OTA update rollout of these latest OxygenOS builds. The update deployment is said to be a staged rolled out, according to the company – henceforth OnePlus 7 Pro users might receive the new update starting today and broader rollout in the weeks to come.
To recall, the flagship OnePlus 7 Pro launched a couple of weeks ago comes with a 6.67-inch 2K AMOLED display with refresh rates of up 90Hz. It comes with Snapdragons’ latest 855 SoC followed by multiple storage variants starting from 8GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage option. As stated, the OnePlus 7 Pro features triple rear cameras (48MP+8MP+16MP), and upfront has a 16MP pop-up selfie shooter.
