OnePlus 6T Thunder Purple Variant to be Launched in India Soon

OnrPlus 6T was launched globally a couple of weeks back and was later followed by the launch of Thunder Purple variant in China. Now the company has confirmed to bring this new color variant into the global market that includes India. OnePlus teased with the Thunder Purple color for the global market on its official Twitter handle and it also came with the caption “Elegance infused with the brilliance of thunderstorms”. There was also an image with a velvet looking material in the new color option with the companies logo on it and also with the hashtag stating ThunderPurple is coming.

Although the company hasn’t confirmed the launch date yet, we expect it to be launched before the holiday season. Initially, the handset was launched in Mirror Black and Midnight Black color variants for Rs. 37,999 and the new variant is also expected to be priced the same. The OnePlus 6T is exclusively available on Amazon and OnePlus website and solid off-line across the stores like Croma, Reliance Digital outlets and OnePlus own offline store.

Well, the OnePlus 6T comes with a water drop notch on its 6.41-inch FHD+ Optic AMOLED display and has a Snapdragon 845 chipset internally coupled with 6GB or 8GB of RAM memory. There is a dual rear camera with dual LED flash on the rear with a 16MP main sensor and another being 20MP camera. The storage option includes 128GB and 256GB which cannot be extended further. There is a 3,700mAh battery on the back with 20W fast charging feature and has a 16MP selfie camera on the front.

It comes out of the box with Android 9.0 Pie operating system with OxygenOS on top. The 6GB / 128GB variant is priced at Rs. 37,999 while the 8GB / 128GB model is priced at Rs. 41,999. There is also 8GB / 256GB storage variant which is priced at Rs. 45,999 in the country. Well, we need to wait a few more days for the company to launch the new color variant globally.
