OnePlus 6T Receiving OxygenOS Beta 12 Update along with June 2019 Security Patch – Details

Late last month we have seen OnePlus 6 and 6T smartphones receiving beta updates which bought Zen Mode phone de-addiction feature. Now the company is rolling out the new OxygenOS Beta 12 update to the OnePlus 6T smartphone which also brings June 2019 Android Security Patch. The size of the download is 328MB and comes with the version OP6T_O2_Beta_12 and since it is rolling out via OTA it might take some time to hit your smartphone. The OnePlus 6 is also expected to get this update soon in the coming days.

The update added digital well-being feature which can be accessed from the setting of the phone and by tapping on the Digital Wellbeing. It also brings Fnatic Mode that offers its users with immersive gaming experience. Furthermore, the Android Security Patch for the month of June will bring a few bug fixes and other improvements also. If you have not received the update, you can also go to the settings of the handset and check for it manually.

To remind you, the OnePlus 6T was launched with a 6.41-inch optic AMOLED display and is powered with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 Octa-core SoC coupled with Adreno 630 GPU. The device was available in 6GB + 128GB storage as well as 8GB + 256GB storage options. Furthermore, it comes with an in-display fingerprint sensor along with the facial unlocking system. The handset is backed up by a 3700mAh battery on the back with the support for fast battery charging.

The camera department on the device includes a 16MP main camera with OIS and PDAF which is accompanied with a secondary 20 MP camera on the rear.
