OnePlus 6 Gets Nightscape Mode with the latest OxygenOS Beta 6 Update
OnePlus has started rolling out OxygenOS Beta 6 update for the OnePlus 6 users and like announced earlier, the update will be bringing few software changes along with the new Nightscape feature and also the security patch for the month of November. As we know, Nightscape is a new feature bought in by the company to improve the images short during nights and this feature debuted with its latest flagship OnePlus 6T. OnePlus is not shying away in keeping this feature exclusive to its OnePlus 6T and is pushing to its OnePlus 6 users also.
The update will be available via OTA for all the OnePlus 6 smartphones, but it might take some time depending on the region. If you can’t wait till the update hits your smartphone, you can always go to the settings of the device and check for the update manually. If you find the update available on the smartphone, you can download it and then install. Make sure that the charge on the device is more than 60 percent and all the data is backed up to be on the safe side. Not to forget, the size of the update is 181MB.
The update brings few changes like a new Google quick search bar in the launcher section, while we can see the Nightscape feature that we witnessed on the companies flagship device. The update also brings in new navigation gestures, Improved UI for About phone. Apart from these, there are improvements made for taking screenshot experience and brings in Android security patch to 2018.11.
In the Gallery section, there is an overall improved experience with improved zoom in and zoom out feature and has also bought in support for more photos shown in the photo tab.
