A couple of years back, Razer launched the Razer Phone as the world’s first gaming smartphone with a 120Hz display. Last year, we have seen two new gaming smartphone brands established by two Chinese smartphone brands. While Nubia introduced the Red Magic as its sub-brand, Xiaomi has invested in Black Shark. Nubia launched first ever Red Magic smartphone via crowdfunding website Indiegogo in April 2018.

In November last year, the company launched its second gaming smartphone called Red Magic Mars. Now in 2019, the company launched the third iteration called Red Magic 3 with the same sleek and ergonomic design. With the Red Magic 3, the company also offered an internal cooling fan with the smartphone for the very first time. It can even record videos in 8k resolution and slow-motion videos in 1920 fps. Now, the company is also planning to launch the Red Magic 4 smartphone by the end of this year in India.

Red Magic is also aiming to lead the Indian gaming smartphone market. At Rs 35,999, the newly launched Red Magic 3 is the most affordable gaming smartphone in the market. Also, it offers several new features like the virtual trigger buttons which are missing on the other gaming smartphones like the Black Shark 2. Just like the Red Magic 3, the upcoming Red Magic 4 will also come powered by the 7nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 Mobile Platform.

The company might also retain the same design as seen on previous Red Magic smartphones. While the Red Magic 3 came with a pogo pin connector for attaching additional accessories. While the company announced only the LAN connection dock and 5G radio add-on, we can expect more accessories to launch with the Red Magic 4. Stay tuned on Phone Radar for more details about the upcoming smartphones!
