Nubia Red Magic 3 Gaming Smartphone to Launch in India on June 17th

Nubia has officially confirmed to launch the Red Magic 3 smartphone in the Indian market on June 17th. The company has already launched its latest gaming smartphone in China and Europe. While the company launched the first-gen Red Magic smartphone in India, it skipped launching the Red Magic Mars. The new Red Magic 3 will be sold exclusively via Flipkart in the Indian market. The recently launched Black Shark 2 gaming smartphone is also available exclusively on Flipkart.

It is the world’s first smartphone to come with a built-in cooling fan. The Red Magic 3 can also record videos in 8K resolution and slow-motion videos at 1080 fps. It sports a 6.65-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution and supports HDR10 playback. Just like the OnePlus 7 Pro, the Red Magic 3 display also comes with the 90Hz refresh rate. Under the hood is the flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Mobile Platform and comes with up to 12GB of RAM LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 2.1 flash storage.

Since the company is mainly focusing the gaming features, the Red Magic 3 comes with a single camera on the front and rear. While it sports a 48MP Sony IMX586 camera with f/1.7 aperture on the rear, there is a 16MP selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture on the front. It sports stereo speaker setup, three microphones, and supports DTS 7.1 surround sound technology. The device comes with touch-sensitive triggers on the side edge. Even the rear-facing fingerprint scanner can be set to a specific control while playing games.

It runs on Android 9.0 Pie-based RedMagic OS 2.0 out of the box. The Red Magic includes a 5,000mAh non-removable battery and supports 27W fast charging technology. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, NFC, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, 3.5mm audio jack, and USB Type-C port. In China, the company also launched additional accessories which can be connected using the magnetic pins. We expect the Red Magic 3 to come with a slightly lower price tag than the Black Shark 2 smartphone. Stay tuned on Phone Radar for more details!
