Nubia Alpha is the new Wearable Smartphone with 4” Flexible Display

Nubia has revealed its new device at MWC 2019 which is a smartwatch with a wraparound display. Yes, it is the new Nubia Alpha that is claimed to do everything that a smartphone can do and this phone/smartphone hybrid is said to be launched in April across China, US and Europe (only the Bluetooth model) in the Black color variant. There is also an eSIM version of this device will make its users make calls without connecting it to a phone but it will take a longer time to come into the market.
The Nubia Alpha comes with a 4-inch (960 x 192) corner to corner OLED flexible screen with 36:9 aspect ratio which is produced in collaboration with Visionox. It is powered by a Snapdragon Wear 2100 SoC with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage. The Nubia Alpha runs on Custom OS and comes with a 500mAh battery which is promised to last for a day or two with regular usage.
The eSIM variant supports voice calling and also 4G LTE connectivity while there is a Bluetooth version which should be connected to the phone over Bluetooth connectivity and to the internet via Wi-Fi. The flexible display watch also has a 5MP camera with an f/2.2 aperture for making video calls and also to click photos. The device has built with stainless steel and the display on it is coated in heat-resistant polyamide. There is also a Gold version of this device which is plated with 18K gold.
These two variants are water resistance which lets the users use it with them always even when it is raining or while running. It also comes with fitness functions also that can monitor the sleep cycle of the user along with their here rate monitoring. The Bluetooth version will be costing €450 (approx Rs. 36,300) while the eSIM model will be priced at €550 (approx Rs. 44,400) while the Gold version will be priced at €650 (approx Rs. 52,500).
