Nokia X71 Leaked Sketch Confirms 6.4″ Punch-hole Display & 48MP Triple Rear Cameras

Last year, Nokia introduced the new X-series lineup to launch smartphones with notch displays. Though the X-series is limited to just China, the company launched the same devices in the global markets under different series. HMD Global already confirmed to launch the all-new Nokia X71 smartphone tomorrow in Taiwan. It could be the first Nokia X-series smartphone to join the Android One family. In China, the Nokia devices come with a custom skin laid on top.

The newly leaked sketch which comes from the trusted leakster from China confirms the punch-hole display and triple camera setup on the rear. While the earlier rumors suggested the Nokia X71 to launch in other markets as Nokia 6.2 (a.k.a Nokia 6 2019), the new leak suggests it to be a completely different device. While the LED flash is placed to the left of the rear camera module, the circular fingerprint scanner can be found beneath it. It will be coming with a 6.4-inch punch-hole display with Full HD+ resolution.

Under the hood is the 14nm Snapdragon 660 Mobile Platform coupled with Kryo 260 CPU and Adreno 512 GPU. This is the same chipset which was also used in the Nokia 7 Plus launched in March 2018. The device packs 6GB of RAM and might come in different storage options. Since the device joined the Android One family, it will be running on the Android 9.0 Pie out of the box. We already knew that the Nokia X71 sports 48MP Sony IMX586 sensor and 120-degree ultra-wide-angle sensor.

The newly leaked information confirms it to come with 48MP + 8MP + 5MP triple rear cameras. As of now, there is no information about the front-facing camera of the device. It will be backed by a 3,500mAh non-removable battery and might support 18W fast charging. Both the power button and volume rocker are placed on the right edge. We will be getting official details including full specifications, pricing, and availability in the next 24 hours. Stay tuned on PhoneRadar for more details!
