HMD Global has finally unveiled the all-new Nokia X71 along with the Nokia 9 PureView today in Taipei, Taiwan. It is the company’s first X-series smartphone to launch outside of China. With the all-new Nokia X71, the company is embracing the punch-hole design with an in-display front camera. Last year’s, Honor View 20 is the world’s first smartphone to come with a punch-hole display.
Talking abo0ut the Nokia X71, the device comes with a mirror finish glass back body and metallic frame. In Taiwan, the Nokia X71 is priced TWD 11,990 (approx USD USD 389 / INR 26,900) and will be on sale starting from April 30th. On the front, the device sports a 6.4-inch punch-hole display with Full HD+ resolution and 93% screen-to-body ratio. Under the hood is the 14nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 Mobile Platform coupled with Kryo 260 CPU and Adreno 512 GPU.
It packs 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. In terms of optics, the Nokia X71 sports triple camera setup featuring 48MP primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle sensor with 120-degree FoV, and a 5MP depth sensor. On the front, there is a 16MP camera for selfies and video calls. It is backed by a 3,500mAh battery and supports 18W fast charging. It is launched under the Android One program and runs on Android 9.0 Pie out of the box.
