As we all know, Nokia has now made the new Nokia 3310 feature phone available in the Indian markets. If you are interested in buying one, then you can head over to your nearest shop and get your hands on one. If you are wondering if this is worth for the 3310 INR which you are paying, then be sure to check out our Top 10 features of the phone to know more about it in detail.
If you notice, we haven’t really talked much about the camera of the phone in the top 10 features and the reason for that was also quite obvious. Firstly, we didn’t have enough hands-on time with the phone to judge it completely. Secondly, this is a feature phone, and it will not be fair to expect a lot from it as well. However, now that we have the phone with us, we decided to quickly fire up the camera and see what we can click and how the images turn out to be.
Do make a note that this is by means a detailed camera review of the phone and is purely just to show you the samples of the camera. Feel free to leave your thoughts on the performance of this camera and if you think it is good enough and meets your expectations. Also, note that we have not compared it with any other smartphones here since that will be totally unfair as well. However, if you wish to see more coverage on the phone then be sure to let us know that as well in the comment section.
Below are some of the camera samples which we shot around from the New Nokia 3310. Click on the photos and take a look at them.
As you can see from the images embedded above, there is not a lot of details here to work with. That is mainly because it is a 2MP sensor. Again, as mentioned earlier, we didn’t click these images with a lot of expectations and it was just a fun idea to test out the camera and see what it had to offer. Here are our quick ratings based on the shots which we clicked.
Image Clarity – 👍🏻 👍🏻
Shutter Speed – 👍🏻 👍🏻 👍🏻 👍🏻
Selfies – 👎🏻
Low-Light – 👍🏻
Overall Performance – 👍🏻 👍🏻 👍🏻
To sum it up, the 2MP camera on the new Nokia 3310 is not ideal for people looking to capture their everyday life moments. It is good to quickly capture any photo if you don’t have any other camera. The images are of decent quality and it is viewable on the phone itself. Once you transfer them to a computer and try to view them, then you’ll see that the details are completely off. Also, you can capture as many images as you can by adding an SD card. But, do make a note that there is no Wi-Fi, Facebook, WhatsApp, Instagram, Twitter, etc. Hence sharing the images which you capture could be an issue, as you have to follow the old school method of copying the files and then sharing them later. Having said that we would like to know your thoughts on this. What do you think about the camera on the New Nokia 3310?
