Nokia has launched a bunch of smartphones so far this year and it looks like it will continue to do so throughout the rest of the year. Speaking of the upcoming smartphone launches from the company, the Nokia 2 smartphone is also next in line and the new reports which we have today shows us the device in new images. Yes, the Nokia 2 smartphone which is expected to be revealed next month, has now been spotted online.
The new Nokia 2 smartphone was spotted at the FCC along with a couple of images of the device showing both the front as well as the back. While the images don’t really give out much about the device, but it is at least good to see something about the device. As you can see from the images, the front houses the display and the front-facing camera, but other than that, not a lot can be clearly seen. Coming to the back, we can see the camera module along with the LED flash.
Towards the bottom of the device, there is a small hole, which appears to be the speakers. However, other than these details, nothing much can be clearly seen. It looks like HMD have designated model number TA-1029 for the Nokia 2. The FCC certification itself doesn’t really give out any other info about the device. The only thing which we about it is the fact that it will feature Bluetooth 4.1 connectivity.
As far as the specs of the smartphone are concerned, we do have some previously reported rumors which say that the device will sport 4.7-inch to 5.0-inch display on the front. It looks like it will be a 720P resolution display. As mentioned earlier, the Nokia 2 is supposed to be a low-end device in their device range and hence it looks like it will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 212 SoC.
We don’t have any info as to how much RAM or storage this device will pack and hence we suggest you stay tuned to PhoneRadar for more info on the same. As far as the launch is concerned, HMD global is said to unveil the new Nokia 8 on August 16 and it appears that they will reveal another device along with that. We are expecting Nokia 2 to be one of them, but this is not confirmed yet. Stay tuned for more info.
