Last month, a new Huawei smartphone with the model number NEO-AL00 is listed on TENAA. The specifications and images of the device aren’t added at that time. Now, the listing of the NEO-AL00 is updated but the specifications and the first look is yet to be revealed. Earlier this month, the list was updated about the change in the design of the device. With this, we think this device to be still in the development stage.
The latest update of the listing revealed the NEO-AL00 to offer 6GB of RAM and 512GB of onboard storage. Till date, 256GB is the maximum storage capacity offered on any smartphone. In December 2017, Samsung announced to begin the mass production of the world’s first 512GB UFS storage for the smartphones. If Samsung is the only manufacturer to offer the 512GB storage solution for smartphones, it will not leave any chance to introduce it with their own smartphones.
While Huawei offers enterprise-level data storage solutions, we don’t think the company has an in-house mobile storage production facility. As of now, we also don’t have any other information about the NEO-AL00 smartphone. If the rumors are to be believed, the company is working on a concept device under the Mate series called as Huawei Mate X. Last month, the company also trademarked the “MateX” in Europe under the smartphone category.
As we all know, Huawei is now getting ready to launch 2018 flagship smartphones on March 27th in Paris, France. The company will be unveiling the Huawei P20 and P20 Pro smartphones on that day. The Huawei P20 Pro will be coming with a triple-lens camera on the rear featuring 40MP RGB sensor, 20MP Monochrome sensor, and 8MP Telephoto sensor. There will also be a Porsche Design Huawei P20 limited edition smartphone. Stay tuned on Phone Radar for more details!
