Not long ago, Realme India had launched its Realme 3 smartphone in the sub-10,000 price bracket. The phone shipped with Android Pie-based ColorOS 6 out-of-the-box and also featured Nightscape mode as well. During the launch, Realme CEO Madhav Seth had confirmed this Nightscape feature is coming to older Realme phones. And, early this week, through his Twitter account, he had also stated that the Nightscape feature is going to roll out to the older Realme 1, the Realme 2 pro and the Realme U1 smartphones in the first half of this year.

And now, Realme has started rolling out the new ColorOS updates for Realme C1, Realme 2 and the Realme 2 Pro smartphones. Well, this isn’t the new ColorOS 6 update, instead a regular ColorOS update with security patches and some noticeable features. Based on the changelog mentioned in the Realme community, it is said that the new ColorOS update brings the latest March Android security patch update to all the three Realme smartphones for Indian and Indonesian markets.

As for the new ColorOS updates is concerned, the Realme 2 Pro update with (Build number: RMX1801EX_11.A.17_0170_201903151409) gets Android’s latest security patch but no extra features. However, the company confirms all the goodies are coming through the next major ColorOS 6 updates. Further, the Realme 2 update with (Build number: RMX1805EX_11.A.25_0250_201903192122) brings in new Expert mode in the Realme 2 camera and also adds Fingerprint Shooting for the camera, which allows your fingerprint sensor to act as a camera shooter. Besides, users get Android March 5, 2019, Security Patch, as stated earlier.

And lastly, the Realme C1’s latest ColorOS update with (Build number: RMX1805EX_11.A.25_0250_201903192122) also brings added the latest security patch alongside the Expert camera mode for the camera as well. It is to be noted that these are timely updates and users might get the new Over-the-Air (OTA) updates in the following days. Expect a bunch of prominent features like earlier mentioned Nightscape feature in the next big Android Pie-based ColorOS 6 update. Stay tuned to PhoneRadar for more such interesting updates.
