This year CES 2015 has picked up a very keen interest of wearables manufacturers, as many companies are set to showcase their devices in Las Vegas, Nevada this week. The new device has improved upon the basis of demand by its community. Clip 2 has four major improvements, first being a wireless connectivity, which was a much-needed feature by its consumers, as it will now allow you to directly upload the photos to the company servers and access them via the Narrative app on iOS and Android. It will automatically log into one assigned Wi-Fi network whenever it’s in range. As well it supports Bluetooth connectivity, which would allow you to view recent photos and adjust settings from your phone.

Second is the improved camera module, which is upgraded from 5 megapixels to 8 megapixels allowing you to take better-detailed photos. Moreover, there’s new 90-degree lens, which promises improved light sensitivity in low light conditions. Wider angles mean, there’s a lot to capture in every day.

Company has also included a gyroscope in the new Clip 2, which will allow the device to measure the orientation and rotation. Since the device capture photos every 30 seconds, the increased battery rating of 315mAh will make sure that the battery life last for as long as the whole day.

There’s also a new modular clip designed to allow more flexible usage, meaning; there are now more attachment options, such as on a necklace or pinned to a shirt. As for the software side, company’s iOS, Android and Desktop web apps will be updated with the public timeline allowing you to share images with other users.

Currently, there is no release date set for the Narrative Clip 2, but it is will retail at $199 once launched, against the $149 price point of the original Narrative Clip. There will be three color options at the launch, Black, White, and Red.
