Motorola One Vision Officially Launched with 21:9 Display & Exynos 9609 SoC

Motorola today launched its latest Android One smartphone called Motorola One Vision in Brazil. We have been seeing the leaks of this device from the last few months. Last week, the press renders and the complete specifications are also leaked online. In Brazil, the Motorola One Vision is priced at BRL 1,999 (approx USD 500 / INR 35,000). However, the device will be coming with a much more aggressive price in other markets.

The Motorola One Vision comes with a curved glass body and will be available in Bronze color options. On the front, the device 6.3-inch punch-hole display with Full HD+ (2520 x 1080 pixels) resolution. The company is calling it CinemaVision display and offers 21:9 aspect ratio. At the MWC 2019, Sony unveiled the flagship Xperia 1 smartphone and two other mid-range smartphones with the 21:9 displays.

Unlike the Sony smartphones, the Motorola One Vision comes with a circular cutout on the top left corner for the front-facing camera. The device comes is powered by Samsung’s Exynos 9609 octa-core processor clocked at 2.2GHz. It is coupled with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The Motorola One Vision comes with hybrid SIM card slot where the users can add a MicroSD card instead of the secondary SIM card for storage expansion.

Talking about the cameras, the One Vision sports dual camera setup on the rear featuring 48MP primary sensor with f/1.7 aperture and a 5MP night vision sensor with f/2.2 aperture. It comes with OIS support and can record 4k videos at 30 fps. On the front, there is a 25MP camera with f/2.0 aperture for capturing selfies. The Motorola One Vision will be part of Android One family and runs on Android 9.0 Pie out of the box.

It is backed by a 3,500mAh non-removable battery and also supports TurboPower fast charging. The device comes with a rear-facing fingerprint scanner and also supports face unlock. It measures 160.1 x 71.2 x 8.7 mm and weighs 181 grams. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, A-GPS, NFC, 3.5mm audio jack, and a USB Type-C port.
