Moto Z2 Play Smartphone leaks inside the retail box, expected to be announced on June 1

The Moto Z2 Play that was spotted on TENNA earlier this month has now leaked inside its retail box. This second generation Moto Z device is almost official with its official-looking press renders and the earlier leaks also revealed most of its specs. Recently Lenovo also confirmed about the battery capacity of this device and all these things made sure that the device will be announced soon. This new device will be officially unveiled in Brazil on 1st of June but nothing is known about the pricing of the handset yet.

The Moto Z2 Play will be the successor of the Moto Z Play from last year and the Z2 Play will be 5.99mm thin and will be powered by a 2820mAH battery. Since the Z series devices from Moto support Moto Mods the design of the handset will be similar to its predecessor. According to the previous leaks, the handset will come with a 5.5-inch AMOLED display with FHD resolutions and will come out of the box with Android Nougat 7.1.1.

To power the new device, there is a Snapdragon 660 processor with a clocking speed of 2.2GHz and it will be coupled with 4GB of RAM. There is 64GB of internal storage that can be further extended via microSD card slot. On the camera front, the device will sport a 12MP rear camera with Dual Pixel autofocus and it will be accompanied with 5MP selfie camera. It is not sure if the handset will be supporting fast charging but handset weighs just 145 grams keeping it on the lighter side.

There is no information on the Global roll announcement of the Moto Z2 Plus but it will be revealed soon. We will be updating the article once we get more information on the same. Stay tuned to PhoneRadar and comment in the section below if you have more queries.
