Motorola has launched three new Moto Mods for its Moto Z smartphones in India. The new Moto Gamepad Mod was first announced at the MWC 2017 alongside the Smart Speaker Mod with Amazon Alexa. Though the Alexa is available in India, the company hasn’t launched the Alexa Mod. The other newly launched Moto Mods include TurboPower Pack & JBL SoundBoost2. Both these mods are first announced during the Moto Z2 Play launch in the first half of this year. All the three new Moto Mods are compatible with first-gen & second-gen Moto Z devices.

]These snap-on Moto Mods are attached to the Moto Z smartphones with their strong built-in magnets. The Moto Gamepad Mod adds two joysticks, a D-pad, two trigger buttons, and four additional action buttons to the Moto Z devices. It packs a 1,035mAh built-in battery that makes the Gamepad last up to 8 hours on a single charge. While it gives an awesome experience while playing games, this gaming accessory will cost you Rs. 6,999. With the TurboPower Pack Mod, you don’t need to carry a power bank and charging cable to charge your devices.

This new mod adds 3,490mAh additional capacity to the Moto Z devices. It also supports 15W fast charging technology and can charge the smartphones from 0% to 50% in just 20 minutes. Just like the Moto Z devices, the TurboPower Mod can be charged with USB-C cable. The Moto TurboPower Pack Mod comes in Black color and is priced at Rs. 5999. The JBL SoundBoost2 Mod is the successor to last year’s JBL SoundBoost Mod. It comes with a fabric body and will be available in Red, Blue, and Black colors.

The JBL SoundBoost2 Mod is also splashproof and comes with a kickback stand. With the built-in 1,000mAh battery, the company mentioned it to give up to 10 hours of music playback. Just like the Moto Gamepad Mod, the JBL SoundBoost2 Mod will also cost Rs. 6,999 in India. All three new Moto Mods will be sold via Flipkart and Moto Hub stores starting December 17th. The company also partnered with RentoMojo to offer the Moto Mods on a weekly rent basis. The Moto Z users in 8 eight metro cities can rent the available Moto Mods for as low as Rs. 399.
