Last month, Motorola launched the Moto G6 and Moto G6 Play in India. While the Moto G6 Plus is also unveiled alongside these two devices globally, there is no word about its availability in India. However, the company is now teasing the launch of Moto G6 Plus in the Indian market. The company has tweeted saying “It’s time to ask for more from your smartphone. Get ready to say hello to the #MotoG6Plus, which is #BuiltForMore with a smart camera and serious performance! Stay tuned”.
As of now, there is no information over the exact launch date of this new device. However, we expect it to happen in the next couple of weeks. Talking about the design, the Moto G6 Plus looks similar to the previously launched Moto G6. While the Moto G6 came with a 5.7-inch Full HD+ display, the Moto G6 Plus will be offering a slightly bigger 5.9-inch display with the same resolution. It uses the IPS panel and comes in 18:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood is the 64-bit Snapdragon 630 Mobile Platform.
It comes coupled with Adreno 508 GPU and 4GB/6GB of RAM. The device includes 64GB of internal storage and has a MicroSD card for storage expansion. Both the Moto G6 and G6 Plus will be sharing the same set of cameras. There is a 12MP + 5MP dual camera setup on the rear with f/1.7 aperture and LED flash. On the front is an 8MP selfie camera which also comes accompanied by a LED flash. It runs on Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box with close to stock Android UI.
The device comes with a fingerprint sensor integrated into the Moto dimple on the rear. It is backed by a 3,200mAh non-removable battery that also supports Turbo Charge fast charging technology. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, 3.5mm audio jack, and USB Type-C port. Stay tuned on PhoneRadar for the Moto G6 Plus price in India!
