Moto G5S Plus with 13MP Dual Rear Cameras Confirmed to Launch in India on August 29th
Earlier this month, Motorola unveiled the Moto G5S and Moto G5S Plus smartphones in Europe. Both the Moto G5S and Moto G5S Plus are the successors to Moto G5 and Moto G5 Plus smartphones. While the Moto India is teasing the launch of Moto G5S Plus from the last few days, the device listing has gone live on Amazon India confirming it to be Amazon exclusive. The launch event will happen on August 29th and we expect to cost much higher than the Moto G5 Plus. Along with the Moto G5S Plus, the company will also launch the Moto G5S in India.
The Moto G5S Plus comes in Lunar Gray and Blush Gold colors options. It comes with unibody metal design and sports a 2.5D curved glass on the front. Talking about the Moto G5S Plus specifications, the USP of the device is its 13MP dual-lens camera on the rear with f/2.0 aperture and dual tone LED flash. It comes with video stabilization and can record 4K videos at 30 fps. For selfies, there is an 8MP selfie camera on the front with the wide-angle lens and LED flash. The physical home button on the front also comes with a fingerprint sensor.
It sports a 5.5-inch display with Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) resolution. Under the hood is the 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 octa-core processor clocked at 2.0GHz. In Europe, the Moto G5S Plus came with 3GB and 4GB RAM options with 32GB and 64GB storage options. There is also a MicroSD card slot for further expansion of storage up to 128GB. With all these specifications, the Moto G5S Plus is backed by a 3,000mAh non-removable battery. It supports TurboPower fast charging with the provided power adapter that can give 6 hours of usage time with just 15 minutes of charging.
Connectivity options include 4G LTE,Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, 3.5mm audio jack, and MicroUSB 2.0 port.
