A new smartphone brand from Vietnam called Mobiistar debuts the already crowded Indian smartphone market by launching two new smartphones. The Mobiistar CQ and Mobiistar XQ Dual are first smartphones from the brand to be sold in India. While the Mobiistar CQ is the cheaper among the two, the Mobiistar XQ Dual offers dual front cameras with the wide-angle view at a budget price. Both the devices will be running on Android 7.1.2 Nougat-based Star OS out of the box.
Talking about the Mobiistar CQ, the device comes in Gold and Black color options. It sports a 5-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) display and is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 quad-core processor. It offers 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. The Mobiistar CQ comes with the triple card slot that offers a dedicated MicroSD card slot for storage expansion. There is an 8MP rear camera with f/2.0 aperture and a 13MP front camera with f/2.2 aperture.
It is backed by a 3,020mAh battery and includes smart power and battery saving feature. The Mobiistar CQ measures 145.2 x 71.8 x 9.6 mm and weighs 156 grams. Compared to the Mobiistar CQ, the Mobiistar XQ Dual comes with better specifications. However, the XQ Dual also sports the same old 16:9 display. It comes with a metal unibody design and sports a 5.5-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) display. Under the hood is the 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 octa-core processor.
The Mobiistar XQ Dual comes with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of expandable storage. On the front, it comes with a 13MP + 8MP dual camera setup that offers up to 120-degree wide-angle view. There is a 13MP single camera with f/2.0 aperture and 5P lens on the rear of the device. It is backed by a 3,000mAh battery and also sports a rear-facing fingerprint sensor. The Mobiistar CQ and XQ Dual will be available exclusively on Flipkart starting May 30th.
