A new smartphone under the Canvas Juice is listed on the company’s website called as Micromax Canvas Juice 4 with the model number Q382. As seen with the earlier launched Canvas Juice 3 and Juice 3+ smartphones that came with 4,000mAh batteries, the latest Canvas 4 comes with a slightly smaller 3,000mAh battery. The Canvas Juice 3 and Juice 3+ are officially launched in September 2015 with a price tag starting from Rs. 8,999 and we expect the Canvas 4 to be priced lower than that.

Apart from the battery, the Canvas Juice 4 also comes with lower specs when compared to its predecessors. It features a 5-inch IPS display with FWVGA (854 x 480 pixels) resolution. Under the hood is the Spreadtrum SC7731 quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz along with 1GB of RAM. There is 8GB of internal storage along with a MicroSD card slot for expanding the storage up to a maximum of 32GB.

The device supports dual SIM dual standby but doesn’t offer 4G LTE. As said earlier, the device is backed by a 3,000mAh that is rated to deliver 11 hours of talk time and lasts up to 385 hours on standby.

Like the many other entry-level devices, the Canvas Juice 4 also comes with pre-installed bloatware apps like Amazon, Amazon Kindle, Scandid, and Snapdeal. The device runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop with FirsTouch Launched pre-installed on top of the OS. There is also a custom app store that comes in regional languages and the UI also supports upto 10 Indian regional languages.

There are no details regarding the launch of the Canvas Juice 4, but we can expect it to be in the near future as the device was listed on company’s website. Stay tuned for more updates!
