Micromax Canvas Fire 6 Smartphone with Massive 3050mAh Battery Announced

The Indian smartphone manufacturer company, Micromax had launched the Canvas 5 Lite smartphone with affordable specifications at a budget level price that is Rs. 6,499 and it was the successor of the previously launched Canvas 5 smartphone. On the same lines, the company has come up with another smartphone in addition to the Canvas series called as Micromax Canvas Fire 6 smartphone and is now listed on an official page with basic specifications. The tagline of the smartphone is music just got a shot of steroids; it means that this smartphone is for music lovers.

The Canvas Fire 6 smartphone is the successor to the Micromax Canvas Fire 5 smartphone that was launched Earlier this year and is now priced at Rs. 5,986 and is now available on Snapdeal. The Canvas Fire 5 smartphone has the better specifications than the Canvas Fire 6 smartphone but lacks the 4G LTE connectivity. This smartphone comes with a B-Bass Technology with 96db Loudspeaker & Amplifier that deliver a low Frequency 680 Hz sound output for superior quality.

This smartphone features a 5.0-inch HD IPS display with 1280 x 720 pixels resolution and offers 294 PPI of pixel density and 16M colors. Under the hood, the device comes packed with a 1.0 GHz Cortex A53 Quad-core processor that has a MediaTek MT6735P SoC paired with Mali T720 GPU. It runs on the outdated Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box with pre-defined applications. It supports dual SIM dual standby and is limited to 4G network.

The other connectivity options include 3G HSPA+, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS / A-GPS, FM Radio, 3.5mm audio jack, Glonass and Micro USB. There is an 8GB internal memory and 1GB of RAM. It can also expand the memory with a microSD card slot up to 32GB. This smartphone has a massive 3050 mAh battery that gives you a talk time of 27 hours and a standby time of 550 hours. The sensor on the device includes G-sensor, Gyro-meter, Light, and Proximity sensor.

Regarding camera department, the device packs an 8MP rear camera with Autofocus and LED flash and has a 2MP secondary camera for selfies. The rear camera can record videos up to 720p at 30 frames per second. It is measured bu 145 x 73 x 8.3 mm in dimensions and is weighing around 155 grams.
