Xiaomi’s has launched its new Mi MIX 3 phone recently in China, which took on the internet like a storm with its new slider design, 10GB of RAM, 5G connectivity and the usual top-of-the-line specs as well. Apart from the original design element, the Mi MIX 3 features a dual camera set up on the rear with 12MP+12MP sensors. It happens to be the most capable camera since it already matches the DxOMark score with the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 score.
So, this camera expertise from the Mi Mix 3 would soon be featuring in the Xiaomi’s earlier top-end phones – the Mi 8 and the Mi MIX 2S, said CEO of Xiaomi, Lei Jun on the microblogging site Weibo. He further explained that MI MIX 3 camera utilizes the same hardware similar to the Mi 8 and the MIX 2S. He also revealed that he had requested the R&D team to transplant the Mi MIX 3’s camera technology to the Xiamoi’s Mi 8 and the MIX 2S as soon as possible. He further requested the users of Mi 8/MIX 2S to be patient regarding the update.
This development is undoubtedly a rejoice to Mi 8 and Mi MIX 2S users, and it’s quite an initiative from Xiaomi for satisfying these users by providing its flagship’s feature to its already popular Mi devices.
