Meizu Pro 7 leaks with ultrasound finger sensor, Kirin 960 SoC & 6GB RAM

We have already seen few leaks of the upcoming Meizu Pro 7 and now a leaked presentation slide of the same has come forward revealing many of its specifications. The handset will be powered by Huawei’s latest Kirin 960 chipset while there is a 6GB RAM to make sure it will be competing with the best in the market.

There is a 12Mp camera with a Sony IMX 386 sensor and there is an ultrasound under the fingerprint sensor. The device is set to be announced on December 24th, a day before Christmas. Recently we have seen Meizu unveiling its Pro 6s which is the successor of the Pro 6.

Earlier: Last month, Xiaomi blew everyone’s mind by unveiling the so-called concept phone with a higher screen-to-body ratio. It is called the Xiaomi Mi MIX smartphone, and if you haven’t seen it, then you should totally check it out. It has 91.3-percent screen-to-body ratio according to the company and is made out of premium materials like ceramic and gold plated rings and what not. And the best part is, you can purchase one of them as they are already selling it in China. However, you might want to wait until December 24th.

According to the previous reports, Meizu is all set to unveil a new smartphone with almost no bezels at all. Yes, that means it i expected to have close to 100-percent screen-to-body ratio. If you have been following the news for some time, then you already know that it is coming on December 24th. However, now according to the new reports which we have, it looks like the smartphone with almost no bezels is going to be the Meizu Pro 7 smartphone. If you are wondering which smartphone is this, it is the successor to the Meizu Pro 6.

We have a couple of images to back this report from the source, and the images clearly indicate the same. Taking a look at these images that leaked earlier on Weibo, we can see that there are going to be two variants of the smartphone. One with comparatively less storage than the other and hence a marginal price difference as well. Now let’s talk about some of the specs which we have from the images. The Meizu Pro 7 smartphone is expected to come with a 5.62-inch Super AMOLED display on the front, with a resolution of 1080 x 2160. And yes, the display is going to be bezel-less, in case you missed it.

If you have any complaints here with the display resolution, then you should be blaming the odd aspect ratio due to the display covering the entire body. Also, the smartphone is only 6.5mm thin. Well, not sure about the performance, but this one is going to be a fragile device. Talking about the specs of the device, we don’t have much info, however, we will be getting 6GB of RAM on board along with 64GB or 128GB of internal storage. The battery capacity is not known but the smartphone will have the mCharge 4.0 rapid recharge system, which will take the battery from 0% to 100% in just 40-minutes.

In terms of the camera, at the front, there will be an 8MP camera and the rear facing camera specs are unknown at this point. And as of now, that’s all the info which we have about the device.
