Earlier this month, Meizu had launched two new smartphones Meizu M3 Note and Pro 6 in China. Now the company has made the entry-level Meizu M3 official in its home country. It features a 5-inch display with HD (1280 x 720 pixels) resolution. It is powered by MediaTek MT6750 octa-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz along with Mali T860 GPU. The device comes in two variants with 2GB and 3GB of RAM and includes 16GB and 32GB of internal storage. There is also a MicroSD card slot for expanding additionally upto 128GB.
In the camera department, there is a 13MP rear camera with f/2.2 aperture and PDAF that can focus in just 0.2 seconds. For selfies, there is a 5MP selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture and fotonation 2.0 on the front. The device supports dual SIM with the help of hybrid SIM slot. It is backed by a 2,870mAh battery which is almost same as the Meizu Pro 6 battery.
