McDonald’s Promo Material Uses iPhone 8’s Alleged New Design

Apple‘s iPhone 8 has probably been one of the most leaked Apple smartphones of all time. We have been seeing a ton of rumors and leaks about the smartphone for roughly over 6 months now. The latest leak which we right now is not exactly a leak to be precise, however, it does showcase the alleged new design of the iPhone 8.
Earlier today, McDonald’s, the famous fast-food chain was spotted using the iPhone 8 in one of their promotional material online. Yes, as you can see from the tweet which is embedded below, McDonald’s sent an e-mail to the customers about a promotional offer and apparently, this piece of promotional material uses the alleged new design of the iPhone 8. As mentioned earlier, this is not exactly a leak, however, this is a very rare case where a well-known brand has pushed as a part of their promotional material, which is not even confirmed yet.
But the real question is, where is this coming from? Does this mean McDonald’s know something about the design of the iPhone 8? Well, before you jump to any conclusions, we suggest you read further. Firstly, the promotional material does not mention the name Apple or iPhone 8 anywhere and hence we cannot directly accuse them of using the iPhone 8 design. As we all know, designers or brands are free to use any template they see fit for their promotional material unless and until some other brand holds right over that.
So without discussing this further, let’s just say that they probably don’t know anything about the iPhone 8’s design officially and this was purely coincidental. However, that’s a strange coincidence nonetheless. Now, talking about the design itself, they have used the alleged design quite well to showcase how their app would look like on the new iPhone. If you look closely, they have also showcased the button layout properly as well, just like how it has been leaked.
