Martian and Amazon has joined hands to bring the voice assistant Alexa to its mVoice hybrid watches. This announcement of the partnership will give mVoice users to access more than 5,000 of the Amazon voice assistant features. There is also a software update to these devices that lets Amazon Skills for navigation, setting alarms, shopping, control smart home and more.
These watches are priced around $300 but currently Amazon is offering the same for a discounted price of $160. The mVoice line of watches come with the traditional analog dial on which we can also see a small OLED display on the bottom which will be notifying text messages, incoming calls and also upcoming calendar events that make sure that the user does not miss any notification and upcoming meetings. There is a built-in noise canceling microphone and speaker to make and receive phone calls.
These watches also let its user make calls and send messages when connected to a smartphone running on iOS or Android OS. Martian has started shipping watches from 2013 that includes models like classic watch design and smart features such as the display on the watch that shows notifications.
Recently Amazon has been working on a speaker with a 7-inch touchscreen display and Amazon’s Alexa built-in. This new device is expected to deliver a better sound quality than earlier speakers and will also be priced higher due to the 7-inch touch screen display which lets the user monitor better. Amazon is also testing a feature which will allow its user to pin an item on the display of the speaker like a photo. Moreover, the user can also see the screen and the display can show the weather, appointments, news, etc.
