Recently the company has expanded the Jio preview offer for selected Samsung Galaxy devices. Today, Samsung also launched the entry-level Samsung Z2 powered by Tizen OS in India and it is the affordable Samsung device to come with Jio Preview offer. Reliance is also rumored to offer a new Jio 4G SIM with the purchase of every smartphone that costs more than Rs. 10,000 starting from August 15th.
The newly launched Wind 7 and Flame 7 still runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop, and we don’t expect them to get the Marshmallow update in the near future. Talking about the other specifications, the Wind 4 comes with a 5-inch HD IPS display and is protected by Dragontrail Glass on top. Under the hood is the Snapdragon 210 quad-core processor coupled with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage. The Wind 7 includes an 8MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera. It is backed by a 2250mAh battery that will give at least a single day of usage. On the other hand, the LYF Flame 7 comes with 4-inch WVGA display and is powered by Spreadtrum SC9830 processor. As posted earlier, it comes with just 1GB of RAM and 8GB of storage. Both the devices include MicroSD card slot for further expansion of device storage. It packs a 5MP sensor on the back and a 2MP sensor on the front.
The 1750mAh battery might not last more than of usage. The Flame 7 and Wind 7 also supports dual SIM dual standby and offers 4G LTE connectivity only one SIM. The Flame 7 measures 126 x 64 x 10.6 mm and weighs 113 grams. Both the devices come with two years of the manufacturer where the second year can be activated via MyLYF app. The Flame 7 costs Rs. 3,499 whereas the Wind 7 is priced at 6,999.
