LG X300 Smartphone announced with Android 7.0 & Snapdragon 425 SoC



LG X300 is a new device from LG and is also the first mid-range device with Snapdragon 425 SoC that has been announced in its home country Korea. The device comes with curved glass on the front with rounded edges, and there is a fingerprint sensor on the back to enhance the security levels. Moreover, the device gives a comfortable grip with the patterns design on the back cover. The handset is available for 253,000 Korean Won (approx US$ 216). Recently LG has launched the devices like LG Stylo 3, LG K20 Plus, LG V30, LG X Power 2, LG Stylus 3 and few more devices.

The specifications of the device include a 5-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) n-Cell Touch IPS display giving a pixel density of 294 PPI. There is a quad-core 1.4GHz & Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 SoC coupled with 2GB RAM and Adreno 308 GPU. The handset is a dual SIM variant that comes with an internal memory of 16GB which can be extended up to a maximum of 32GB via microSD card slot.

Out of the box, the handset will come with Android 7.0 Nougat operating system and the device will be available in White color variant. On the back, there is a Li-Ion 2500 mAh battery and supports 4G LTE connectivity. The device comes with 13MP camera with LED flash coupled with 5MP camera on the front. There are other connectivity options like Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth, GPS, A-GPS, Micro USB v2.0.

There are sensors like Accelerometer, Proximity, Magnetometer, and compass. The handset measures 144.8 mm x 72.1 mm x 8.09 mm and weighs 142 grams in weight. It will be competing against the devices like Xiaomi Note 3, Xiaomi Redmi 2 Prime, Swipe Elite Plus, Lenovo Vibe K5, Asus Zenfone 2 Laser, Honor 4X and few other devices.
