LG India launched its latest smartphone in the X series called X Screen. It was first unveiled at the MWC 2016 held in February this year and was already launched in few other markets. It looks more like a lite variant of LG V10 with its always-on secondary display. The device is priced at Rs. 12,990 and will be on sale starting from July 20th exclusively via Snapdeal. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow based latest LG UX UI on top.

It comes with 4.93-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) In-cell display and also a 1.76-inch LCD secondary display with a resolution of 520 x 80 pixels. The device is kept powered by a 2,300mAh battery which is slightly smaller than that of 2,520mAh battery on X Cam. It includes 4G LTE along with other basic connectivity options. The device comes in the colors – White, Black and Pink Gold. The second screen is there to show all the notifications as well as give you access to default music player while the main screen is turned off. And of course, you will also see date and time in the second screen.
Moreover, you can also pin some selected apps on the X Screen, which will help quickly launch frequently used apps. Note that there is an SOS feature on the device, which allows you to alert the emergency contacts. Activating the SOS is quite easy, just press the power button 5 times and it will be activated. Meaning your emergency contacts will be alerted about the need of help when you press the power button five times.
