After launching the LG X Screen and LG X Cam smartphones under the new X series, today the company also launched the LG X Power and X Style smartphones in Ukraine. Both the devices come with basic specifications and sports a polycarbonate body. Recently LG had trademarked the X5, which hints the device to be low-end variant of LG G5. At the MWC 2016, the company showcased both the LG X Screen and X Cam smartphones along with LG Stylus 2.
Last week LG also launched the new G Pad III 8.0 in Canada with full-size USB port. It sports an 8-inch screen size with 1920 x 1200 pixels resolution. It is powered by a 1.5GHz unknown octa-core processor along with 2GB of RAM. It has 5MP camera on both sides and is backed by a 4,800mAh battery. It also features SIM card slot with 4G LTE support. The blue light can be reduced by activating the one-click reader mode to make the G Pad III 8.0 convenient for reading.
Talking about the newly launched devices, as the name suggest, the LG X Power comes with a 4,100mAh battery that can easily last more than a day of usage. It comes with a 5.3-inch IPS display with HD (1280 x 720 pixels) resolution. Under the hood is the MediaTek MT6735 quad-core processor clocked at 1.14GHz. It has 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage that can be further expanded with the included MicroSD card slot.
The LG X Power has a 13MP autofocus rear camera with LED flash and an 8MP front camera. It costs UAH 5000 (approx $200 / Rs. 13,400). Coming to the LG X Style, it has a smaller 5-inch HD display and is powered by 64-bit Snapdragon 410 quad-core processor. It has 1.5GB of RAM and 16GB of expandable storage. Unlike the X Power, the X Style is packed with a smaller 2,100mAh battery that might not give more than a day of usage.
In the camera department, it has only an 8MP rear camera and a 5MP selfie camera. The LG X Style is priced at UAH 4,500 (approx $180 / Rs. 12,000) and will be available starting from July. Both the devices run on Android 6.0 marshmallow based UX UI out of the box. There is no word about the launch of the devices in other markets. Stay tuned for more updates!
