LG K10 2017 Smartphone with 13MP Camera & Android 7.0 Nougat Launched at Rs. 13,990

LG is expected to unveil the 2017 K-series smartphones today in India, but the company has launched only the LG K10 2017 smartphone. Last year, the company launched few mid-range smartphones with decent pricing which made them compete with the Chinese brands. Now, the new LG K10 2017 is priced at Rs. 13,990 and comes in Black, Gold, and Titanium color options. Just like Samsung, LG is still going for the plastic body while most of the smartphones at this price are now coming with the metallic body. LG is also offering the panic button on the rear of the K10 2o17 smartphone which was made mandatory by the Government of India.

The user can press the power button 3 times for calling the 112 emergency number or long press it to get the emergency menu on the screen. LG is also offering on-screen emergency icon to initiate the emergency call directly by tapping on the icon. It comes with a curved polycarbonate back body with a 2.5D glass on the front. The LG K10 sports a 5.3-inch In-cell display with HD (1280 x 720 pixels) and is powered by the MediaTek MT6750 octa-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz. It packs 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage that can be expanded technically up to 2TB.

In the camera department, there is also a 13MP rear camera with f.2/2 aperture, autofocus, and LED flash that can record videos at Full HD resolution. For selfies, The LG K10 2017 offers a 5MP front camera with wide-angle lens. The device supports dual SIM dual standby and offers VoLTE and the new ViLTE only on anyone of the SIM. The device runs on Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box with the customized UX UI laid on top. Just like its successor, the LG K10 2017 is also a “Made in India” device. The 2,800mAh removable battery might give a day-long battery life.

Connectivity options include 4G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, 3.5mm Audio port, and MicroUSB 2.0 port. The power button on the rear also comes embedded with the fingerprint sensor. It also includes Proximity, Accelerometer, Digital Compass, Ambient light, and Hall IC sensors. The smart cover for the LG K10 LTE comes in differnet designs along with a notification window on the top.
