After the G6, LG is getting ready to announce a tablet called as LG GPad X2 8.0 Plus. The device has been spotted on the T-mobiles official website with 8-inch display and 1920 x 1200 resolutions. The pricing and availability of the device have now been mentioned anywhere yet but expected to be unveiled soon. LG launched its last tablet in April this year that was dubbed as LG U+ which was an entry-level tablet. This upcoming device will be included in the companies G-series which is well known for affordable tablets.
Although we do not have all the information about the device yet, we have enough information which tells the device will be a mid-ranger. As mentioned earlier, the device comes with 8-inch touch screen and under the hood, there is an octa-core processor with a clocking speed of 1.4GHz coupled with 2GB of RAM. The tablet supports LTE but lacks HD voice support. The onboard storage is limited to 32GB which can be extended further with the microSD card.
Out of the box, the device will run Android 7.0 Nougat and might be getting further updates later. There is a 5MP main camera sensor as well as a 5MP front camera and it will be powered by a 4,400 mAh battery on the back. The connectivity options include NFC, Bluetooth v4.2, and USB port. As tablets are made mainly for streaming video content, the company has provided a GPad Pack Plus dock which will be acting as a stand when the device is getting charged.
