LG G Pad III 8.0 Tablet with 4,800mAh Battery to Launch on May 27th
LG had launched the LG G Pad II series tablets with three screen sizes in 2015. Now the company is coming up with a new tablet called LG G Pad III 8.0 which will be the successor for last year’s G Pad II 8.0. It said to be launched in Canada on May 27th though we are still waiting for the official confirmation. As the name suggests, the LG G Pad III 8.0 sports an 8-inch display with Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) resolution.
The tablet comes with one-click reader mode that filters blue light in favor of reducing the eye fatigue. Talking about the other specifications, it will be powered by octa-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz and includes 16GB of onboard storage. In the camera department, the G Pad III 8.0 features 5MP sensors on the front and rear. The 4,800mAh battery keeps the tablet powered on, not more than a day of usage.
It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow based LG UX UI laid on top. Last years G Pad II 8.0 came with Snapdragon 400 chipset along with 1.5GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The tablet includes a 5MP rear camera and a 2MP front camera. It has a smaller 4,200mAh battery and came wth Android 5.0 Lollipop at that time. The upcoming tablet might also support 4G LTE just like its predecessor.
