Motorola Designed Lenovo Vibe X3 and X3 Lite to Launch on Nov 16

Lenovo had teased the launch of its upcoming smartphone Lenovo Vibe X3 that was scheduled for November 16th. There are rumors about the launch of this device from early 2015. Recently the device is also certified at TENAA, where we got the information about the design and specifications of the device. We expect the company to launch the Vibe X3 along with Vibe X3 Lite on that day.
These are first set of smartphones to be designed by Motorola. Talking about the Vibe X3, it comes with a 5.5-inch Full HD display and is powered by Snapdragon 808 hexa-core processor. It has 3GB of RAM, 64GB of internal storage, and a 3,500mAh battery. From the TENAA images, we can see the fingerprint sensor placed on the rear of the device. The metal build device comes with dual SIM support with 4G LTE connectivity.
As per the listing, it has a 21MP rear camera with dual tone LED flash and an 8MP front-facing camera. The dual stereo speakers placed on the front can be clearly seen in the image. There is no information regarding the battery capacity of this device. On the other hand, the Vibe X3 Lite comes with mid-range specifications but with the same design as the Vibe X3.
We expect it to sport the same 5.5-inch Full HD display, but it comes powered by 64-bit MediaTek MT6753T octa-core processor. It has 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage along with a MicroSd card slot for storage expansion. It has a 13MP rear camera, 5MP selfie camera, and a 3,300mAh battery. With such a key differences in the specification, we can expect the differences in the prices of both the devices.
The devices run on Android 5.1 Lollipop with the latest Vibe UI and expect them to be upgradeable to Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The rumors over the internet also suggest the Vibe X3 and Vibe X3 Lite to be priced at 1,299 Yuan (approx $204 / Rs. 13,500) and 899 Yuan (approx $141 / Rs. 9,300) respectively. Since all these aren’t yet confirmed by the company, take them with a pinch of salt until the official launch of the device.
