Lenovo has been aggressive in launching their smartphones in this year, still we are in the first month, and there are already two new smartphones Vibe K4 Note and K5 Note launched and today the company has announced the mid-range Vibe X3 for the Indian market. It was first launched in China in mid-November last year. The design of the Vibe X3 looks almost similar to the recently launched Vibe K4 Note apart from the LED flash placement on the rear.
On the front, it has a 5.5-inch display with Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) resolution and Gorilla Glass 3 for protection. Under the hood is the Snapdragon 808 hexa-core processor coupled with Adreno 418 GPU and 3GB of RAM. It comes with 32GB of internal storage that can further expandable upto 128GB via MicroSD card slot.
Talking about the camera department, it has a 21MP rear camera with f/2.0 aperture, PDAF and dual tone LED flash. It has an 8MP front camera with f/2.2 aperture that can capture decent images even in the low-light conditions. The Vibe X3 also come with three microphones from Texas Instruments OPA1612 Amplifier, Sabre 9018C2M DAC and also the Cirrus Logic WM8281 codec.
There are dual stereo speakers in the front with Dolby Atmos surround sound offering Hi-Fi sound experience. It runs on the Android 5.1 Lollipop with latest Vibe UI laid on top of it. The device offers dual SIM dual standby with VoLTE support. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, NFC, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1 LE, GPS/A-GPS, and MicroUSB 2.0 port. The device also includes TheatherMax technology that converts the normal sound into 360-degree cinematic surround sound that makes the viewing in VR even more thrilling.
It is backed by a 3,500mAh non-removable battery that is rated to deliver 31 hours of talk time and lasts up to 618 hours on standby and also supports Fast Charging. Below the rear camera is the fingerprint sensor that is said to unlock in just 0.5 seconds. The smartphone will be sold online exclusively via Amazon starting Jan 28th, and is priced at Rs. 19,999.
