This manufacturer always satisfies the users by embedding latest technologies and features in the phone. Recently we have seen the success of Lenovo Vibe K4 Note and Lenovo Vibe P1 after the release.
Lenovo Vibe S1 comes with high-specifications, and it received applause from all the Android lovers. But as we all know that, when an Android device is used for few moths several issues arise, and same is the case with Lenovo Vibe S1 smartphone. Many users reported about certain issues in the phone, and so we did few workouts on those issues and could able to find the solutions for resolving all the issues. So, sit back and relax, go through the below solutions and make your device free from all the issues.
Problem – Just like all the Android devices, Lenovo Vibe S1 too facing the issue of the lag as many users reported about the same. So, few made few workouts and able to find the solution to resolve this issue.
Solution – First of all, to reduce the lag issue we can enable the developer options. For that, tap few times on the ‘Build number’ option under ‘Settings>About phone> Device information’. Now you can find the enabled options under the settings. Open those and scroll down to find the animation settings where by default all will be pointed to 1x. So, turn them off completely or reduce to 0.5x to see the instant change in the performance of the device.
To resolve the lag issue, you also need to clear the cache stored in apps and device. For app cache, open each app from the app manager and tap on ‘Clear Cache’ option. For clearing entire cache from the device, you need to get the phone into recovery mode. For that, turn off the phone by pressing power button until Lenovo logo appears on the screen and the hold Volume Up and down button (until you see the Android recovery menu. In here, use volume buttons for navigation and power button for confirming the selection. Now, select and confirm ‘Wipe cache partition’ and then go for ‘Reboot system now.’ By now, the lag issue should get resolved and if not then perform a factory reset on the phone.
To perform a factory reset, first of all, take a prior back up of the data present in the phone as this process will erase everything from the phone. Once back up is taken, get the phone into recovery mode as explained above. Now, select and confirm ‘Wipe data/factory reset’ and then ‘Yes – delete all user data.’ Once done, go for ‘Reboot system now’. Also, the factory reset can be performed by opening ‘Settings>System>Backup & reset> Factory data reset’ and follow on-screen instructions. That’s all; now you should be free from the lag issue.
Problem – Most of the users reported that the device is getting over-heated suddenly. We have seen the same issue in other Android devices also, and so we could able to find the solution for it.
Solution – To avoid the over-heating issue, first, you need to make sure that all the widgets and live wallpapers are removed from the device. Because widgets and live wallpapers will over-load the processor resulting in over-heating issue. So, remove them and use static or normal wallpapers and use one or two widgets if required.
Avoid multi-tasking (opening various apps and features at a time) on the phone as this also, can cause the over-heating issue. If the issue persists, then turn off the device for some time and turn it on back. If this failed, then perform the factory reset on the phone as explained in the solution 1.
Problem – Many users wrote that bloatware is causing troubles on their devices. Well, this is also a most common issue on all the Android devices as all the devices come with pre-installed apps.
Solution – Bloatware consumes RAM space and sometimes causes over-heating and battery-draining issues. So, we need to avoid that by uninstalling all the pre-installed apps. If you fail to find an option to uninstall bloatware, then try to disable them. Also, uninstall the unnecessary apps that are downloaded by you from the play store.
Problem – Battery life is the major concern for every Android user, and same is the case with Lenovo Vibe S1 smartphone users. Most of the users reported that the battery is draining fast than usual and they couldn’t be able to stop it. So, we made few workouts solve this issue.
Solution – At first, remove all the battery-draining apps and bloatware from the phone. This could help in increasing the battery life. Next, turn off the connections like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and data whenever not in use. Also, disable GPS option when not in use as it may consume the battery.
Always make sure to use original battery chargers while charging the device as duplicate chargers will discharge the battery faster than usual. Avoid widgets, live wallpapers and any battery consuming factors. Even then if the device is showing the poor battery life then replace it with a new one.
Problem – Few of the users wrote that whenever they try to connect the device to Wi-Fi, they are getting an error. Same is the case with Bluetooth as they aren’t able to pair the devices. Well, you can solve this issue by performing few tasks.
Solution – Whenever you see an error in connecting with Wi-Fi, try restarting the phone and if it fails to connect then restart the router and check. This should resolve the issue and for Bluetooth error, you need to remove all the paired devices from your smartphone. Now, pair the device again freshly and this time, you should get successful.
Note – Do remember that, the software updates released by the manufacturers through OTA will contain fixes for the minor bugs and enhancements to improve the device performance. So, always make sure to update your device with the latest software as it will fix you device issues. Check for the updates under ‘Settings>About Phone’ and download them if available.
