Lenovo K6 Note with 16MP Camera & 4,000mAh Battery Launched, Price Starts from Rs 13,999

Lenovo had unveiled the K6, K6 Note, and K6 Power smartphones at the IFA 2016 held in September this year. Last month, Lenovo has launched the K6 Power with 3GB RAM in the Indian market for Rs. 9,999. Today, the company has officially launched the K6 Note smartphone in India. The device comes in 3GB and 4GB RAM variants priced at Rs. 13,999 and Rs. 15,499 respectively. While the Lenovo K6 Power is available exclusively through Flipkart, the K6 Note will be sold via 15,000 offline stores across the country starting from December 17th. The K6 Note will be the third device in the K-Note series to launch in 2016. While the Vibe K4 Note is officially launched here in India in January this year, the K5 Note was made available only in August. Just like its predecessors, the K6 Note also sports decent mid-range specifications but seems to be overpriced as its also sold via offline stores. It comes with an all metal body sporting a circular fingerprint sensor on the rear. The K6 Note sports a 5.5-inch display with Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) resolution. Under the hood is the same Snapdragon 430 octa-core processor as seen on the Lenovo K6 Power. The 3GB RAM variant comes with  32GB of internal storage while the 4GB RAM variant includes 64GB of storage.

There is also a MicroSD card slot for storage expansion upto another 128GB. The device runs on Android 6.0.1 marshmallow out of the box with the Vibe UI laid on top.Compared to the K6 Power, the K6 Note comes with a better rear camera; it sports a 16MP rear camera with dual tone LED flash. While on the front is the same 8MP selfie camera as seen on the K6 Power. It is powered by a 4,000mAh non-removable battery that can provide decent battery life. Even the K6 Power with a smaller form factor also came with the same battery capacity. While the K6 Power came with dual stereo speakers on the rear, the K6 Note sports a single bottom facing speaker. It will be available in Dark Grey, Gold, and Silver color variants. Along with the K6 Note, the company is also selling the ANT VR headset and the VR Controller priced at Rs. 1,299 and Rs. 2,800 respectively. Lenovo is also offering zero percent EMI’s through Bajaj Finance and Home Credit. Compared to K6 Note, the K6 Power seems to be better choice only if you can go make a purchase online. The K6 Power comes with a smaller 5-inch Full HD display and can be good a choice if you are shifting from a feature to a smartphone.
