After months of rumors and leaks, LeEco officially launched its latest flagship smartphone LeEco Le Pro 3 smartphone today in China. It is world’s second smartphone to come with Snapdragon 821 SoC; Asus already launched the Zenfone 3 Deluxe powered by the same SD821 SoC. While Apple skipped the 3.5mm audio port with the latest iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus, LeEco did that seven months back. Instead, it introduced the CDLA technology that gives digital audio output instead of analog output.

The LePro 3 also lacks the 3.5mm audio port but comes with USB Type-C earphones along with the device. The device comes with 5.5-inch Full HD In-cell Display and a 2.5D glass laid on top. There is no 8GB RAM on this device as rumors suggested. Under the hood, the Snapdragon 821 processor clocked at 2.35GHz is accompanied with 6GB RAM (LPDDR4) and 64GB of internal storage (UFS 2.0).  There is also 4GB RAM variant with 32GB of storage. Just like its earlier devices, the device lacks the expandable storage option.

As we said earlier, the Le Pro 3 is the slimmest smartphone from LeEco measuring just 7.5mm thickness. There is a 16MP rear camera with an aperture of f/2.0, PDAF and dual tone LED flash. On the front is an 8MP selfie camera with wide-angle lens. With such high-end specifications, the device is kept powered on by a 4,070mAh non-removable battery that lasts more than a day of normal usage, and it also supports Quick Charge 3.0.

It comes with the dual stereo speakers where one is placed on the bottom edge, and the other is integrated into to the earpiece of the device. The device runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow based latest eUI 5.8. On the back, we can see the fingerprint sensor which also supports mobile payments in the future as it also comes NFC. The device supports dual SIM dual standby and offers 3CA integration for 4G internet speeds.

Coming to the pricing, the 4GB RAM variant of Le Pro 3 costs 1799 Yuan, and the 6GB RAM variant is priced at just 1999 Yuan. For comparison, the OnePlus 3 with Snapdragon 820 SoC and 6GB RAM is now retailing at 2499 Yuan in China. The sales start from September 28th exclusively in China, and there is no information about the availability of the device in India.
