LeEco had launched the all new Le 1S Eco superphone, the enhanced version of popular Le 1S. The device looks same as its successor and also sports similar internals. It comes with a price tag of Rs. 10,899 along with one year of free premium membership worth Rs. 4,900. The Le 1S Eco is touted to be the first “Made for India” device from LeEco which supports 10 Indian regional languages.
It comes with aa 5.5-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) In-cell display. Under the hood is the Helio X10 octa-core processor clocked at 2.2GHz and coupled with PowerVR G6200 GPU and 3GB of RAM. The device comes with 32GB of internal storage with no MicroSD card slot fo expanding. The device supports dual SIM dual standby and offers 4G LTE.
In the camera department, there is a 13MP rear camera with PDAF that can record video is 4K resolution. For selfies, it includes a 5MP front sensor with 85° wide-angle lens. The mirror finished rear-facing fingerprint sensor is also continued from Le 1S to Le 1S Eco. The Le 1S Eco comes with Android 5.0.2 Lollipop based EUI 5.5 while we expected it to run on Marshmallow out of the box.
It is backed by a 3,000mAh non-removable battery that supports fast charging which can give 3.5 hours if talk time with just 5 minutes of charging. LeEco had partnered with Yupp TV and Eros Now for providing Movies, and Live TV streaming with the Le Vidi and Le Live. The Le Music offers more than 3.5 million songs from Hungama and streams 50 music concerts from all over the world.
The earlier sold Le 1S and Le Max will get these with an over-the-update. While the Le Vidi and Le Live will be available from May 24th, the Le Music and LeEco Drive with 5TB storage will be available from Q3 and Q4 respectively. The 1,00,000 units of Le 1S Eco will be available for a special price of just Rs. 9,999 for the first sale on May 12th.
