Latest OnePlus Switch Beta App Supports Migrating Data to OnePlus from an iPhone

Earlier this year, OnePlus launched the OnePlus Switch app to quickly transfer the data from any old Android smartphone to a new OnePlus smartphone. While there several apps with similar features, the OnePlus Switch comes with ‘easy to use’ interface and works even better when switching from a OnePlus device. The OnePlus Switch not only carries all the app data, but also the app logins.

Today, the latest beta version of the OnePlus Switch app also get the iOS support. With the OnePlus Switch V2.2.0, Apple iPhone users switching to a new OnePlus device can easily migrate their data. Since the iOS comes with several restrictions, the users can migrate only contacts, messages, images, and videos. To make use of the OnePlus Switch, the app should be downloaded on both old and new devices. As of now, the OnePlus Switch iOS version only supports iPhone 5 and later devices running on iOS 9 or later.

Once the app is downloaded on the iPhone, the user has to do a couple of steps to trust the developer. Open Settings > General > Device Management, and choose the “Gemstones and Diamonds Exchange sro” and tap on Trust. The migrating data through OnePlus Switch doesn’t a data plan. It uses Wi-Fi hotspot feature to quickly transfer the data from your old iPhone to a new OnePlus phone.
