San Fransico headquartered, Jawbone is a popular wearable product manufacturer that has will officially enter the Indian wearable market tomorrow. Today three of the Jawbone products that are to be launched in the tomorrow’s event are listed on Amazon India. Earlier this month Fitbit debuted with three fitness bands – Fitbit Charge, Fitbit Charge HR, and Fitbit Surge priced at Rs.9,900, Rs.12,990, and Rs.19,900 respectively.
There are also low-cost fitness bands like Mi Band and YU YUFit that costs only Rs.999. Though we can’t compare the Fitbit bands with Mi Band or YUFit, but for such a low price they offer basic functions like counting foot steps and tracking sleep.
Coming to the Jawbone fitness bands that are listed, jawbone UP Move is cheapest among them with a price tag of Rs.4,999, while the Jawbone UP2 and UP3 are priced at Rs.9,999 and Rs.14,999 respectively. All the three bands come in many color options.
All the three bands come with activity tracking, food logging, and smart coach. While the Jawbone UP3 comes with an additional sensor for Heart rate monitoring.
All the three bands supports the activity tracking like counting your steps and exercises. It can also calculate the overall calories burned throughout the day. The sleep tracking shows how much time you had a sound sleep or a light sleep. It also shows how many times you woke up or how much time you layed on your sleep. The Activity tracker also tracks time taken to fell asleep and time your are awake.
The smart coach comes embedded with the ‘UP by Jawbone’ app. It can be downloaded from Google Playstore or Apple Appstore.With the help from the band, the app learns your sleeping patterns or exercise timings to suggest for better output. It also gives small challenges like drink eight glass of water a day, that makes you stay healthy.
By logging details of your meals, you can get nutritional details of the food. It helps in improving you diet. You can also set goals and work according to achieve that goal.
