iPhone 8 Beats iPhone X in Google’s Top Search Results for 2017

It’s the year-end time, and we are seeing 2017 insights from the major tech companies. As usual, Google came up with the top searches of the year 2017. Talking about the worldwide searches, the Hurricane Irma takes the top spot followed by iPhone 8 and iPhone X. Coming to the top searches related to consumer tech, the iPhone 8 stands in the first place. With the craze for the Apple iPhone around the globe, the all-new iPhone X made its way to the second place.
While the iPhone 8 is searched for the whole year, the searches for the new iPhone X has started only from September. However, the iPhone X also has higher search volume than the iPhone 8 after they are officially launched. Coming to the Android devices, the flagship Galaxy S8 from Samsung has been most searched in 2017. Overall, it is the fourth most searched consumer tech product of this year.
Even the Nokia 3310 feature phone also made it to the list of top searches, it occupies the sixth place. In early 2017, HMD Global launched the new Nokia 3310 as the successor to the 17-year old Nokia 3310. However, the Razer Phone at the seventh place has been a huge surprise for us. The U.S-based Razer, which is known for making gaming peripherals, has debuted the smartphone market by launching the gaming-centric Razer Phone with a 120Hz display.
The Oppo F5, OnePlus 5, and Nokia 6 are the other smartphones in the top 10 list placed at eight, ninth, and tenth positions respectively. There is no place for Huaweis, Pixels, and LGs in the top 10 list. Apart from the smartphones, the Nintendo Switch and Xbox One X are only two other products to make into the top 10 list under consumer tech.
