iPhone 7 & 7 Plus Pre-orders are 4 times higher than Apple iPhone 6 & 6s

Apple launched the new iPhones last week, and both the devices are actually up for pre-order in the U.S. You can go ahead and pre-orders now if want to. Now when we talk about the total number, we don’t really have an official number from the company, but we do have some reports which show us that the devices are selling like hot cakes. T-Mobile and Sprint announced on Tuesday that the pre-orders for these new devices are up nearly four times fro the previous two models i.e. the iPhone 6 and the iPhone 6s.

It is reported that the pre-sales which began on Friday, were the biggest in T-Mobile’s history. The pre-orders sale broke the record for both single-day orders and pre-sales placed in the first four days. The same was confirmed by the company’s CEO in a Periscope broadcast on Monday night. Meanwhile, Sprint which is another carrier in the U.S, highlighted that the pre-orders of the iPhone 7 and the iPhone 7 Plus are up more than 375-percent. And this number is only for the first three pre-sale days. This is a huge number when compared to the same period last year. It is also reported that Apple will not be providing us with the details of its first weekend sales.

Note that this is the first time that the company is taking this decision of not sharing the details. So we can’t expect any response from the company on the official sales number of the new iPhones. The company stated that the sales will be governed by supply, not demand. It looks like the two new colors launched this year, got some an overwhelming response, to a point where the company had to push back the delivery dates of the jet black model to as late as November. So we are talking some serious demand here. So if you in the market for the Jet black, then you have to wait for a long time.
