Intex Elyt Dual with Dual Selfie Cameras Launched in India for Rs. 6,999

From the past few years, we have seen several selfie-centric smartphone launches in India. Now, everyone is cashing on the selfie bandwagon by launching smartphones with dual selfie cameras. However, most of the dual selfie camera smartphones are priced above Rs. 10,000. Intex, the Indian smartphone manufacturer, now came up with a new smartphone called Intex Elyt Dual. It offers dual cameras on the front and is priced at Rs. 6,999.

The Elyt Dual sports a 2.5D 5-inch IPS display with HD (1280 x 720 pixels) resolution. It is powered by 32-bit Spreadtrum 9850 quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz and comes coupled with Mali 400 GPU. The device includes 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage that can be expandable up to 128GB. It runs on Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box and comes with pre-loaded bloatware apps like Amazon, Gaana, SwiftKey, UC Mini, and more.

Talking about the USP of the device, the Elyt Dual offers 8MP + 2MP dual camera setup on the front for capturing selfies with bokeh effect. On the rear is an 8MP camera with f/2.2 aperture and LED flash. The smartphone is backed by a 2400mAh battery that is rated to give up to 6 hours of talk time and lasts up to 220 hours in standby mode. It measures 145.4 x 71.7 x 9.1 mm and weighs 149.6 grams.

Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, FM Radio, USB OTG, 3.5mm audio jack, and a MicroUSB 2.0 port. It will be available in Champagne and Black color options. As seen on the other entry-level smartphones, the Elyyt Dual also lacks the fingerprint sensor. It will be available across India via offline retail stores.
