Officially Launched

Intex Cloud Cube with 512MB RAM & 2MP Camera Listed Online at Rs. 3,399

The affordable smartphone launches from Indian smartphone manufacturers are increasing day by day. This month alone we have seen the number of entry-level smartphone launches including Micromax Canvas Pace 4G, Canvas Xpress 4G, Lava Iris Atom 2X, Intex Aqua Q7, XOLO Era HD, and iBall Andi Sprinter 4G. Today a new device named ‘Intex Cloud Cube‘ is announced with an affordable price tag, that said we can’t expect impressive specifications.

The device was listed on eBay through 3rd party sellers prior to the official launch. It sports a 4.5-inch display with FWVGA (854×480) resolution. Under the hood, the device is powered by 1.2GHz Spreadtrum SC7731 quad-core chipset along with 512MB. With such a low RAM capacity, the multitasking on this device cannot be smooth as other entry-level devices. There is 8GB of internal storage along with MicroSD card slot.

It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop and includes a 2,000mAh battery that can give 4-5 hours of talk time and lasts up to 200 hours on standby. The device supports dual SIM dual standby but lacks the 4G connectivity. It comes with a 2MP rear camera with LED flash and a 0.3MP front-facing camera. The company also mentioned slo-mo videos to be supported by this device, but with just 2MP sensor we can’t even expect decent images. The connectivity option on this device includes 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and MicroUSB 2.0 port.

The device will be available in the colors Black and Grey. While the MRP of the device is Rs. 4,290; the device is now retailing at just Rs. 3,399. The company is also offering a free protective cover and a screen guard for free within the package. Comparing the Cloud Cube with the recently launched Aqua Q7, there is no difference between both these devices apart from naming. Though the we don’t have any information from the company about this new device, let’s wait for the official launch of the device.
