Intex Aqua Power 4G & Aqua Power HD 4G Smartphones Launched in India

Today Intex, an Indian smartphone manufacturer has launched two new handsets at an event in Hyderabad. At the ongoing press event, the mobile brand has unveiled two handsets in it’s Aqua Series. They are Aqua Power 4G and Aqua Power HD 4G. The company has been known to launch several handsets a month. Not breaking its pattern, the company has added two new handsets to its already big tally for the month.

Talking about the Aqua Power HD 4G, the device packs in a 5-inch HD IPS display and have an Octa-core processor clocking at 1.4GHz to run the operations on the handset. There is a 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage, which can be expanded by microSD card slot up to 32GB. In the times when Android 6.0 is being given out of the box, the brand has put Android 5.1 Lollipop, which would probably have bloatware inside them.

Regarding the camera department, it has an 8MP rear module with flash and a 5MP front module for selfies. The company touts that the device has auto call recording feature, which might come handy sometimes. There is a 4G LTE support as well as Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and USB port for connectivity. All this is powered by a high capacity 3900 mAh Li-poly battery.

The brand touts it’s handset comes with language lock feature, where the user can switch between languages from the lock screen itself. Isn’t that quite interesting! It would have up to 21 regional language support.

The Aqua Power 4G comes with a 5-inch display and is powered by a Quad-core processor clocking at 1.0GHz. It is accompanied by a 1 GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage, which can be expanded up to 32GB. The device runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow, which might be filled with bloatware.

There is an 8-megapixel image sensor on the rear, which is supported by a flashlight. One the front is a 2-megapixel image sensor fro capturing selfies and video chat. Company touts auto call record feature on the device. Regarding connectivity, it has a 4G LTE network support, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS and micro USB port. All this is powered by a 3800 mAh capacity battery.

Note that both the handsets would be getting a protection cover free inside the retails box unit. The Aqua Power HD 4G is priced at Rs 8,690, while the Power 4G is priced at Rs 6,690.
