iBall is an Indian based smartphone manufacturer known for launching budget smartphones. The company launched their entry-level smartphones under it’s Andi series in India. Now a new smartphone called iBall Andi 5L Rider is officially launched at a price of Rs. 4,699. It will be available across India through offline and online stores. Compared to this, the LYF Flame 2 at Rs. 3,499 seems to be a better deal which comes with three months of Jio preview offers including unlimited usage of 4G data, voice calls, and SMS.

The Andi 5L Rider sports a 5-inch FWVGA (854 x 480 pixels) IPS display and is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor along with Mali-400 GPU. It has 1GB of RAM and 8GB of built-in storage which can be expanded upto 32GB via microSD card. Powering the device is a 2300mAh battery which should be sufficient to make it through a day worth of usage considering it’s size and less power hungry internals. It ships with Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box and features several pre-installed bloatware apps.

On the camera front, there is a 5MP rear camera with an LED flash and a 2MP front facing camera for selfies. Other highlighted features of this budget smartphone include HD video recording with video playback, 9 Indian Regional System Languages Support , 21 Indian Regional Languages for Read/Write Support, FM Radio with FM recording etc. Connectivity options include Bluetooth tethering, USB tethering WiFi (802.11 b/g/n), WiFi Direct and Wi-Fi hotspot for internet sharing.

The dual-SIM handset does not support 4G LTE network and is only limited to 3G network. This new budget smartphone comes with plastic build body as seen on other entry-level devices. iBall is also offering a back cover and a screen protector for the device at free of cost. The device will be available in Blue, Brown, and White color options.
