Huawei Y6 2019 Announced with 6.9” Dew Drop Notch Display & 3020 Battery

Huawei Y6 2019 is a new device that has been announced by the company in the Y series. The handset comes in Sapphire Blue, with reflective particles to diffract light, while it also comes in Black and an Amber Brown version with a leather-like finish. The device is currently going for sale in Russia for 9,770 Russian Rubles (approx Rs. 10,500) while in the Philippines it is available as Huawei Y6 Pro for 6,990 Philippine Piso (approx Rs. 9,600).

Well, the device will be sporting a 6.09-inch HD+ (1560 x 720 pixels) resolution display with 2.5D glass on top. Under the hood, there is a 2GHz Quad-Core MediaTek Helio A22 12nm processor coupled with 2GB RAM and IMG PowerVR GE-class GPU. The onboard storage is 32GB which could be extended further up to a maximum of 512GB via microSD card slot. Out of the box, it will come with the latest Android 9.0 Pie operating system with EMUI on top.

For the camera department, Huawei has provided a single 13MP sensor with an LED flash on the rear with PDAF and f/1.8 aperture size. For selfies, there is an 8MP front-facing camera with an f/2.0 aperture size along with a flash. The handset measures 156.28 mm x 73.5 mm x 8.0 mm and weighs 150 grams. This dual SIM variant supports 4G VoLTE and other connectivity options like Bluetooth v4.1, GPS, A-GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and more.

To power the device there is a 3020mAh battery and the handset does not support a fingerprint sensor Unlike the Y6 Pro. Furthermore, the Y6 Pro comes with 3GB of RAM while this one just features 2GB of RAM. The global availability of the same will be known in the next few days.
